"Frustrating" to not play regularly, but Jack Leach accepts England's selection of all-seam attack
1 Aug 2021
London Spirit has a horrid time at the start of the competition, unable to quin any of their two completed games and the only point that they have is from the washout against the Oval Invincibles in the London Derby. Eoin Morgan’s side got close to a whiff of a win against the Trent Rockets but were unable to finish off because of their batting woes.
Now the Spirit faces the Brave spirit from the Southerners who have tested their first win in this competition in their very first home match. Buoyant by that confidence they would look to keep going the winning trail and with skipper James Vince in form, they have every chance to get the win.
Match Number- 15
Date and Time: August 01, 2021, 11:00 pm IST, 06:30 pm Local, 05:30 pm GMT
Venue: Lord’s London
Broadcast and Live Stream: Fancode App
The pitch at Lord’s has seen only one of the men’s actions of The Hundred so far. Although considered one of the best cricketing wickets for providing assistance to bowlers. But in The Hundred, such wickets become a bore for people who come out to see runs and boundaries. Similar was the case in the last game when Spirit could only score 116, losing the game by seven runs, unable to chase down even 124.
Will there be a change in its attitude for this game is yet to be seen.
The chances of precipitation are 35% at the start of the game and will go on decreasing as time progresses, so hopefully, the audience will have a game at hand, How long will be the match is a question that shall be answered only by time.
